Hajj

Hajj — preparation for the journey of a lifetime

Guidance, preparation and registration of interest, so that when verified arrangements are announced you are ready to go.

The fifth pillar

A once-in-a-lifetime journey deserves careful preparation.

Hajj combines worship, physical effort, large-scale movement and strict operating rules. Travellers deserve clear communication well before departure.

Siru Travel's approach puts preparation first: understanding the rites, getting physically ready, organising documents early and knowing exactly how the journey will run on the ground.

The journey

Stages of Hajj

A simplified overview. Detailed guidance on each rite is given in pre-Hajj preparation sessions.

  1. 8 Dhul Hijjah

    Mina

Enter ihram and travel to Mina, where pilgrims spend the day and night in prayer.

  2. 9 Dhul Hijjah

    Arafah

The Day of Arafah — the heart of Hajj — spent in supplication until sunset.

  3. Night of the 9th

    Muzdalifah

Pilgrims move to Muzdalifah for the night and collect pebbles.

  4. 10 Dhul Hijjah

    Jamarat, sacrifice & Tawaf

Stoning of Jamrat al-Aqabah, the sacrifice, shaving or trimming, and Tawaf al-Ifadah.

  5. 11–13 Dhul Hijjah

    Days of Tashreeq

Return to Mina and the stoning of the three Jamarat on each day.

  6. Before departure

    Farewell Tawaf

Tawaf al-Wada' is performed before leaving Makkah.

FAQs

Hajj questions

Does Siru Travel currently offer Hajj packages?

Hajj arrangements are published only once places, accommodation and operating arrangements are confirmed. Register your interest and Siru Travel will contact you when verified details are available.

Who can go on Hajj through Siru Travel?

Hajj places and permits are allocated under arrangements set by the Saudi authorities, and eligibility rules differ by nationality and country of residence. Siru Travel will explain what applies to you when you register interest.

When should I start preparing?

As early as possible. Religious learning, physical preparation, documents and medical advice all take time — many pilgrims start at least several months before the season.

What vaccinations do I need?

Requirements are set by the Saudi authorities and can change each season. Take advice from your doctor or travel clinic and confirm current rules with Siru Travel before travel.

Can I bring a family member with reduced mobility?

Please tell us when you register interest. Hajj involves long walks, heat and dense crowds, so suitability and available assistance need to be discussed early.
